Therapy for Burnout
For women who are tired of being tired.
God, you’re exhausted.
In the existential, can’t be cured by a nap way. Everything feels hard, and your spirit feels worn down and far away. You feel like a woman next to a river run dry, believing that working harder will replenish the water. You miss your joy, your creativity–your sense that who you are and what you do matters. Therapy can be an oasis for reconnecting to yourself, your desires, and your spirit.
It can be a place to ask inside: why are you so tired? What is it that you need?
Sound familiar?
On Sunday nights, you feel like you need another week (or year) to rest. Preferably in a sensory deprivation tank.
You feel overwhelmed, unmotivated, and paralyzed.
To counter your lack of motivation, you’re working harder (while quietly criticizing yourself for not being able to do it).
You feel stuck in a cycle of overcommitting, overworking, and never catching up.
Your body is sending signals–headaches, tightness, break-outs, digestive issues
You’re wondering how everyone else is doing this–it feels like you’re the problem.
How I Help
My approach is trauma-informed and influenced by mindfulness, parts work, and somatic therapy.
In our work together, we might:
Tune into your internal experience: We’ll start to get curious about the messages your body is sending, so you can begin to respond to what is being communicated.
Connect and befriend your different parts: We’ll work to deepen your understanding of the exhaustion, and identify parts (old survival strategies) that may no longer be serving you in the present.
Reconnect with your values: We’ll start to reimagine what success looks like when it feels aligned with who you are at your core.
Explore the impact of larger systems: We’ll begin to unpack your relationship with rest, work, and self-worth–all within the larger context of family, culture, and society.
Burnout therapy offers a place to pause, reset, and come home to yourself. Together, we’ll address the deeper patterns that fuel your exhaustion and help you rebuild a life that feels sustainable, meaningful, and authentically aligned.
“In the middle of this road we call our life
I found myself in a dark wood
With no clear path through”
– Dante Alighieri, Divine Comedy, “Inferno”

Hi, I’m Annie
I like to show up prepared, execute things well, and achieve the goals I set. There is nothing inherently wrong with this, and I like this about myself. But there is also a shadow side to these traits that left me feeling anxious, internally conflicted, and ultimately exhausted. I understand this struggle from the inside out. If you’re at a point in your life where you’re ready for something different, I’ve got you. Let’s explore how you can continue to work toward your ambitions with more energy, a greater sense of groundedness, and a clearer, more aligned vision.
